Controller

Due to a promotion and growth, S.C. Swiderski, LLC, a privately held construction, real estate and property management company is recruiting for a full-time professional Controller at our corporate office in Mosinee, Wisconsin.

This role will report to the Director of Operations and will be involved in and oversee the activities of the company’s daily accounting functions.  Knowledge of construction and real estate GAAP accounting principles is required for preparation of the monthly financial statements as well as income tax preparation. In addition to monitoring the daily accounting functions, the controller should be well positioned to assist in developing and driving continuous financial process improvement across the company.   The Controller has three direct reports and will oversee payroll, fixed assets, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as providing direction, support and mentoring to those employees.

Ideal candidates should have a vast history of accounting knowledge with at least 10 years of experience to include progressively more discipline and an emphasis on financial analysis and interpretation complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree and CPA certification or a Master’s Degree.   Incumbent must possess high-level management experience, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, execute good time management skills and have the ability to communicate with people on all levels with both technical financial expertise and in a non-financial capacity.  Maintenance of continuing education affiliated with certifications and market trends is required.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with the ability to be proactive and forward thinking in a rapidly-growing, progressive organization.

Construction Superintendent

Our company is growing rapidly and we are in need of another experienced Construction Superintendent. The ideal incumbent will possess a minimum of 5 + years of experience constructing multi-family apartment sites or commercial projects. This position requires the ability to read site plans and blueprints and to direct all subcontractors and construction personnel in daily tasks to assure site is built according to code and plans. 

Other responsibilities include managing the job site, scheduling material deliveries, safety enforcement and working in coordination with the Project Manager regarding the status of the project. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred and travel is required with this position.
