Due to growth, S.C. Swiderski, LLC. is looking for an experienced Multi-Family Framing Foreman. The Foreman’s responsibility is to plan and schedule tasks for the crew, train new Laborers and Carpenters and meet project schedules. In this role, the Foreman will report directly to the Superintendent.


  • Manage crew and tasks
  • Maintain building schedule provided by the superintendent
  • Develop crew, train, mentor while adhering to plans and schedules
  • Using power tools, measure, cut and adhere to all building codes
  • Read blueprints and layout building components as required 
  • Assemble prepared components for various structures
  • Read and interpret plans, sketches and shop drawings required to compete project
  • Determine type and dimensions of wood stock to be used
  • Maintain and clean equipment and work area
  • May perform work of Carpenter as assigned
  • May act as Superintendent in their absence
  • May direct work of other Carpenters and/or Laborers as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned


This position involves working in all climates as well as in multi-story buildings.  This role routinely is exposed to dust and noise associated with saws, air and power tools. 


Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting materials and equipment up to 80 pounds on a regular basis, bending, standing, climbing or walking.  Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades.  Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical hazards as well as environmental hazards such as molds and various solvents.  Due to the nature of the position, work hours may vary and may include evenings and/or weekends as job duties demand.  Travel is required with this position.


High School Diploma or GED and 5 plus years as a carpenter preferably with leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

 5 plus years’ experience working as a Carpenter, including rough and finish carpentry, and OSHA 10 certification
