The SCS Swiss Army Knife Award Winner
Some people are great at one thing. Others are great at a few things. And then there is Alicia Mohart, the kind of person who somehow does everything, does it well, and does it with a smile.
That is why Alicia is the well‑deserving recipient of the 2025 SCS Swiss Army Knife Award, an honor given to the person who truly does it all. This award honors Alicia for doing all the things, from fixing the copier and solving last‑minute problems to saving the day with perfectly timed snacks, Alicia, you are appreciated!
Among this year’s nominations, Alicia received more nominations than any other award category or recipient, and the messages from her coworkers painted a clear picture as to why. When something needs to be done, Alicia is already on it.
The Ultimate Go‑To Person
“Alicia is the ultimate go‑to person, always ready to jump in and help, no matter the task,” shared Shelby. “Whether it’s tracking down supplies, fixing the printer, or lending a hand at community events, she does it all with kindness and a can‑do spirit.”
Shelby also recalled a moment at Concert on the Square in Wausau that perfectly sums up Alicia’s character: she took time to play with Shelby’s son and immediately offered him snacks.
Marc said, “Alicia is a wonder to watch.” From supporting senior leadership projects to setting up chairs and tables at the SCS Warehouse or even running out for lunch for a new hire, Alicia tackles every task at full speed. “I’m not sure how this place would run without her,” he added, and many would agree.
Becky echoed that sentiment, noting that Alicia “somehow manages to be everywhere, all the time, and always ready to go.” Whether she is running errands, making a perfectly timed Diet Coke delivery, welcoming guests, or keeping everyone informed, Alicia plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. Her presence has even strengthened communication across the organization; another example of how her impact goes far beyond her job description.
Joe shared a story that highlights Alicia’s resourcefulness. At a Lunch and Learn at the Warehouse, she realized how expensive pre‑made sandwich sides would be. Instead of settling, Alicia went out, purchased fresh vegetables herself, and diced them up by hand, just one more way she finds smart, thoughtful solutions while taking care of the team.
Joleen summed it up best, “Alicia is the go‑to person for all things. She seems to know the how, when, where, and why of all things.”
A True Swiss Army Knife
“She is literally a Swiss army knife of an employee,” Ryan said. “She wears many hats and wears them all well.”
Pedro agreed, noting that whether the question involves HR, Accounting, or administrative needs, Alicia either knows the answer or finds it quickly. “It is awesome to have a person like this in the organization,” he shared, and that feeling is shared company‑wide.
